As she drove home, she kept thinking about the wonderful night she had and the connection she made with Brandon. She hadn’t felt this good since before her breakup with Matt.

She had totally forgotten about him. Earlier, she had promised him that she was going to call him tonight and set up a date for this Saturday. She pulled out her cell phone and dialed him.

“Hello?” he answered.

“Matt?”

“Hey, I thought you forgot about me.”

“No, I just got sidetracked.”

“I was thinking about a nice movie and dinner for our date Saturday.”

“Yeah, sure,” she said halfheartedly.

She was starting to feel ambivalent about her feelings for Matt.

Although she still loved him, she was not willing to just be his girlfriend.
